Orwell station is a real location based between Derby Road and Trimley
on the Felixstowe line. It is the only closed station which passenger trains still go through. Orwell station served the villiage of Nacton in the coastal region of Suffolk. It was closed to passengers in 1960, but the line remained open. The station is now a private house. The layout is available in two eras. One near closure in the 1950s/early 60s, the other during World War II. If booking for an exhibition, please state which era you are interested in. |
