![]() ![]() |
Orwell station is a real location based between Derby Road and Trimley
on the Felixstowe line. It is the only closed station which passenger trains still go through. Orwell station served the villiage of Nacton in the coastal region of Suffolk. It was closed to passengers in 1960, but the line remained open. The station is now a private house. The layout is being built in our Stowmarket clubrooms and is expected to be completed for 2011 Exhibitions. The trackplan is based on that of the 1930s. |
