Well the first half of 2008 has certainly been one which has been busy. At first, our lease expired on February 23rd with th prospect of an Indian Takeaway & Restaurant replacing us, however, after an extention until May 23rd was agreed, the Takeaway has been Refused planning permission.
We attended the Norwich Model Railway Exhibition on Saturday, March 29th with Anglia Road in place of Tennents Court. A fun day was had by all, and we gave out nearly 100 Railway Safety books to kids visiting the show.
On Saturday April 12th we attended for our third year at the Ipswich Transport Museum's Transport In Miniature event with Fenley On Sea. This was the first outing for Fenley and it went well. Photos of both these events are in the Gallery.
Work now continues on the Arrangements for our First Ever Model Railway Exhibition in Needham Market on Saturday, August 23rd. Announcements on the final list of layouts and traders will be given soon.
