The Cathcart Model Railway Exhibition is a well established exhibition held every winter in the south side of Glasgow on the last weekend in October every year. For over 40 years it was held in the Couper Institute, Cathcart, but due to Hall Hire cost doubling in 2010, this made the show uneconomical to continue to be in this venue. 

The organising group decided it was important to try and save the show, and a new hall was found. The new hall will be the Pollokshaws Burgh Hall. The hall is larger than the Couper Institute, has its own Car Park and is easily accessable by Public Transport.

We are supported by the main model railway clubs in Glasgow and excellent trade stands which sell new & used items at very good prices.

A visit to the Cathcart model railway show really is an excellent day out for the family or Railway Modeller with layouts from various gauges and era’s. There is also a Buffet service is available at the show.

The Cathcart Model Railway show is unique in the area in that it is brought to you by the main 3 Model Railway clubs in the Glasgow Area. These Clubs are:
Glasgow & West Of Scotland MRC
Clydeside MRC
Renfrewshire MRC
